General Technology and Systems Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of STARC, and Tenaris Global Services Limited formed a joint venture for the manufacturing of seamless pipes covering OCTG products and their accessories. The joint venture is named Tenaris Saudi Arabia Limited and is based in the second industrial city of Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Production capacity is 50,000 tons per year of OCTG.  The plant was inaugurated in October of 2010 and is presently in full production.
