EIM Controls, Inc., became part of the Valve Automation division of Emerson Process Management in 2009.  Valve Automation, Inc. within Emerson Process Management is a division that consolidates the company’s vast array of valve automation products and services.  EIM is a manufacturer of high quality valve actuators. Ever since the first actuator built by EIM was installed on a Saudi Arabian pipeline in 1949, the EIM name has been found on valve actuators worldwide. Those actuators are at work in every climate found on the planet, setting standards for endurance and reliability that have yet to be surpassed. In fact, EIM’s actuator installed on the Saudi pipeline in 1949 continues to give reliable service today despite metal temperatures that frequently reach 77 degrees centigrade.

Throughout EIM’s history, the Company’s emphasis on innovation has been reflected in numerous patents. But more importantly, EIM’s emphasis on quality is reflected in the thousands of actuators still in service after decades of operations. Known for rugged construction and long-term reliability, EIM actuators are produced by highly skilled and dedicated people at their corporate headquarters outside of Houston, Texas.
 Throughout the production process, quality assurance systems verify product integrity and compliance with ISO standards. Test labs at the factory subject EIM products to a rigorous battery of dynamic, electronic and thermal tests. EIM’s experience and capabilities over the past 50 years have earned the company approvals from very demanding end-users and vendors, among them: ExxonMobile, Saudi Aramco, Shell, BP Amoco, Fluor Daniel, PDO, Chevron, Texaco, Bechtel, SCECO, Mitsubishi, etc.
